Hello Y’all! Hope you all are having a lovely day!
Yesterday, I reached 100 friends for Jens Life and Style. This makes my heart so happy, as I have been working so hard this month. It is a small milestone, but a milestone none the less.
This month is Blogtober and I have done my best to write a blog post everyday. If your interested in catching up on this Blogtober series, start here at Day 1.
I have really been trying to change some things in my life, and one main thing I want to change is my standard of living. This is why I am loving the all-natural products trend.
I truly believe all-natural us the way to go right now. There are many products on the market that contain a whole lot of chemicals, and ingredients that are potentially harmful.
If you have children like me, it makes you think, like what am I using to clean the dishes they eat on, the areas they touch, and the environment they live in and breathe. And even if you don’t have children, I also think about myself, and how harmful it can be for me as well.
Yes, I have been living many years using the unnatural products, but the way things are going manufacturers are putting more and more harmful chemicals in everything.
It is quite simple to make small changes to live a bit healthier. For my family and I, we started with our cleaning products. I clean just about everyday, so it was appropriate for me to start here.
With this post, I wanted it to be informative on what is out there for healthy living. Of course, this choice is yours to make, as it was mine. In other words, to each their own.
Here are some cleaning products I just recently ordered with Grove Collaborative.
The Method Antibacterial Spray in Bamboo worked very well. Even with stuck on food on the kitchen counter, it worked better than expected.
I used the antibacterial spray for door knobs and any points of contact in the house. I also went as far as wiping down my baby’s highchair and toys.
I also purchased the Method Antibacterial Bathroom Cleaner in Spearmint and the Bon Ami Cleaning Powder. They both worked great, and smelled fabulous. I used the spray for the light switches, counter tops, mirrors, and outside of toilet.
I liked that it left my bathroom fixtures nice and shiny with no residue. I never noticed before that my other products left residue until now.
I used the Bon Ami powder for the inside of sink and inside of toilet. It worked fantastic and did not have a harsh or strong scent. I want to use this powder on the inside of my shower next.
The Mrs. Meyer’s room freshener in Geranium smells wonderful. It has a nice flowery scent, and made my living room couches smell amazing for hours.
I also purchased a Mrs. Meyer’s soy wax candle in the scent Mum. The scent Mum is a limited edition scent for Autumn. I have not turned on the candle yet, but it is supposed to last for about 25 hours of burn time. Not too bad. I got it because I love candles, and other types candles can contain harmful chemicals that we then breathe in.
I received a few items for free because it was my first purchase.
I received the Mrs. Meyer’s Dish Soap in the scent Mum, which smells amazing. It has a nice, strong scent, and a little goes a long way.
I also received the Mrs. Meyer’s hand soap in the same scent, and it also works and smells great.
Last, I received a seasonal kitchen towel and caddy for free with my purchase.
Not only are these products safe to use, but they work just as well as traditional cleaners. They also smell much better too.
If you have never heard of Grove Collaborative, and are in the US, go check them out. Currently, Grove Collaborative only ships within the US, but these products are available through Amazon for my international friends.
