Blogtober Day 16 – Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Hello Y’all! Hope all of you are having a wonderful day. Just in case you noticed, I did miss two days of Blogtober. My apologies, I just really had to focus on a few other things this past weekend. I will do my best to finish out the month strong.

My previous Blogtober post featured my favorite blogs to read. Go check that out or start at Day 1 of Blogtober.

I just got my first Ipsy glam bag, I was really excited about it. It was great for only $10 a month. I get to try products that I may or may not like without wasting money on a full size product and not liking it.

Here is what I got.

First, I loved the cute little bag. I thought the little bat on the zipper was super cute.

Next, the foundation is the MakeUp For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in the shade Y225 Marble. I like how creamy and smooth it is. When I put it on, it felt nice and not too heavy. I am pretty much minimal when it comes to makeup. I don’t really use much, so I was really glad that this foundation didn’t feel too heavy. It felt like I had nothing on at all.

The eyeshadow is the Dirty Little Secret Cosmetics eye shadow in the color Bronzed. I prefer natural looking eyeshadows like this one. I think it is the perfect color for Autumn. This eyeshadow is creamy, and stayed on perfectly all day. It can be worn subtle or intense, and can even be worn as an eyeliner. I love that this product is vegan and cruelty free, something I look for when buying makeup.

Next the eyeliner is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in the color Perversion. It is so smooth and  goes on effortlessly. It also stays on for a really long time. It is a thicker pencil, which makes out easy to wear a thick line of eyeliner or even just a thinner line is doable.

The hair treatment is the Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil and Shea Butter Oil Treatment and it is the  smells amazing. A few drops is all it takes to make your hair feels soft and look shiny and healthy. I loved it! It loved how it wasn’t too oily either, and it made my hands feel really soft afterwards.

Last, but not least, Ipsy sent me the Demelect polish in the color Verdure. Honestly, I didn’t think I was going to like the green color, but it wasn’t too bad. It is a really nice shade for Fall. It doesn’t chip easily, and has stayed on so far through all the dishes I have washed. It isn’t a color I would have picked up on my own, so it is nice to get an item that was out of my comfort zone because that was the point of me purchasing the glam bag was so that I can try out products I wouldn’t have thought of buying on my own.

Update: I have been wearing the hunter green nail polish for a couple of days now, and I have fallen in love with it. I now need to purchase a hunter green sweater to match!

So those are my thoughts on this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. If you aren’t a subscriber, I would recommend this subscription because it is not too pricey and the products are amazing so far.

Until next time lovelies, take care.
