Blogtober Day 9 – Motivation – 5 Ways To Recharge

Hi Y’all! Welcome to Day 9 of Blogtober 2017. Hope you all are having a fabulous day!

Day 8 Blogtober post was about Vacation/Holiday Essentials. Go catch up here. Today’s topic was supposed to be ice cream, but I really could not think of anything to write. So I decided that even though I do have a list of topics to write about every day this month, if I could not think of a post, then I would just write about anything.

I honestly wrote this whole post about inspiration and how I just wasn’t feeling it today, but I want my blog to be positive and uplifting, so I decided to write about how I stay motivated.

Even on those days where I feel uninspired, there are things I do to get out of that mood. Here it goes…

1. Get Some Fresh Air

When I don’t feel like myself, I go outside for however long it takes, and just enjoy the beauty of nature. My backyard is pretty quiet, so I go out there, but if I had to, I would drive wherever I needed to to just have a moment and breathe.

2. Drink A Coffee or Tea

Whichever you prefer, I enjoy coffee myself, so whenever I need to get motivated I take some time and drink a cup.

3. Listen To Some Music

Music can be very powerful. There is a song for every mood, so no matter what you are feeling turn on a playlist that can turn your mood around.

4. Write

Writing is very soothing to me and I am sure it  is soothing to many others as well. Write down what you are feeling. Once you have had some time to process your thoughts then see how you feel. I did that today, and I realized that I need to be inspired no matter what is going on or where I am at.

5. Take A Nap

Sometimes we are so busy that we do not make time to get rest. I know when I am tired, I get cranky. So take some time, and rest for a few hours. It may be just what you need to feel refreshed and motivated once again.

  1. I made a post on this topic and I loved very the things you stated. I didn’t even even think about how much writing and napping relaxes me. Writing definitely inspires me to write more so thanks! Awesome post!
